SCOPE E-Learning is now CME accredited

NewsSCOPE E-Learning is now CME accredited

SCOPE E-Learning - the online component of the Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education - has been officially recognised by the UEMS-EACCME®.

All 30+ supplementary modules offered through SCOPE E-Learning are now accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). This follows the previous accreditation of the two SCOPE learning paths, Childhood Obesity: From Diagnosis to Treatment and the Core Learning Path, meaning all online SCOPE courses are now CME accredited.

Reflecting on this milestone achievement for SCOPE, World Obesity's President, Prof. John Wilding, commented: “Training for healthcare professionals in how to manage obesity is a fundamental pillar of our efforts to improve lives and provide better care for people with obesity around the world. The entire SCOPE platform is now CME accredited, which is a testament to the value, importance, and need for our learning programme. We hope this latest achievement of our Strategic Centre will stimulate more HCPs to join the SCOPE family.”

SCOPE

SCOPE users can now earn EACCME credits by taking any combination of courses offered through SCOPE. For each SCOPE point earned through SCOPE E-Learning - equivalent to two standard-length modules, or one hour of learning - users will earn one EACCME credit.

Physicians in the USA are entitled to convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the conversion process can be found on this page.
