Susanna Mills is a Public Health Specialty Registrar in the North East of England. She is also a National Institute for Health Research Doctoral Research Fellow, based at Newcastle University, where she is undertaking a PhD exploring the determinants and outcomes of home food preparation. Her research interests focus on issues around dietary public health and food policy, with particular attention to cooking, food environments and food marketing, and how these factors relate to dietary quality and health outcomes in an international context. Dr Mills studied for a BA in Medical Sciences and a Clinical Medicine degree at the University of Oxford. She holds an MSc in Public Health from Newcastle University and is a member of the UK Faculty of Public Health.
