Accredited Courses

World Obesity recognises obesity courses of an outstanding educational standard through its SCOPE Accreditation programme.

Courses, sessions and lectures accredited through SCOPE have been held at major congresses including the International Congress on Obesity (ICO). In addition, many of World Obesity's national associations run SCOPE Accredited events at their annual meetings. We also accredit online courses developed by other organisations, and we have partnered with universities to accredit postgraduate courses on obesity.

All SCOPE Accredited courses are reviewed by World Obesity's Clinical Care Committee to ensure they reflect best practices in obesity management and are based on the latest scientific evidence. Completion of SCOPE Accredited courses allows participants to earn SCOPE points that count towards SCOPE Certification.
