SCOPE encourages organisers hosting events, courses and meetings related to the management of obesity to apply for SCOPE Accreditation, the gold standard in obesity education worldwide.
We are proud members of the CPD Certification Service, offering Certification for your event on request.
All SCOPE Accredited courses are reviewed by the World Obesity Federation’s Clinical Care Committee, experts in the field of obesity management, to ensure they are based on the latest scientific evidence, are free of commercial bias and offer exceptional educational value.

Fees
The cost of SCOPE Accreditation of educational courses and events is tiered based on number of participants and duration of the event/course. There is an application fee for all applications, and a separate price structure applies to for-profit companies. World Obesity members are offered a 25% discount on the accreditation fee.
Note: SCOPE Accreditation is not to be confused with SCOPE Certification, which is free to apply for.
The above SCOPE Accreditation fees apply to all events and courses commencing on or after 11 September 2023.

SCOPE Accredited Courses
Look for the SCOPE Accredited badge to find obesity courses and events of an outstanding educational standard. All SCOPE Accredited courses are reviewed by the World Obesity Federation’s Clinical Care Committee to ensure they reflect best practices in obesity management and are based on the latest scientific evidence.
Participating in SCOPE Accredited courses will earn you SCOPE points that count towards Certification.
