World Obesity Federation - SCOPE

The World Obesity Federation, in collaboration with the KAYL Association for Combatting Obesity and the Saudi Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism, is delighted to host its SCOPE School Riyadh - Obesity management: A shared responsibility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Obesity poses one of the most severe public health challenges of the 21st century in the MENA (Middle East/North Africa) region, and it is a risk factor for several other non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer. Over the past few decades, obesity levels have risen significantly in the MENA region.
