About The Society for Korean Obesity and Metabolism Studies (SOMS)
The Society for Korean Obesity and Metabolism Studies (SOMS) in South Korea, is a Full Member of the World Obesity Federation (WOF). Founded in 2002, SOMS leads in obesity research and clinical practices, offering a platform for academic exchange in South Korea. It organizes academic conferences, publishes 'Archives of Obesity and Metabolism,' and aids in educating obesity experts.
SOMS will host the "SOMS International Conference on Obesity & Metabolism 2024", centered on 'Empowering Health, Inspiring Change: Practical Solutions for Obesity.' This conference is set for October 24th to 26th, 2024, at the aT Center in Seoul, Korea.
