The KARUCAN Foundation (KAFO)

The KARUCAN Foundation (KAFO), established in 1997, is a grassroots NGO working across Uganda to improve health, education, and socioeconomic conditions. Recently, KAFO has outlined new initiatives targeting obesity in the Rwenzori Sub-region, including awareness campaigns, screenings, and professional training. Their holistic approach makes them a welcome ally in the fight against obesity across Africa.
