Georgian Society for Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine

The Georgian Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Disorders is a multidisciplinary professional organisation dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of obesity and related metabolic diseases in Georgia.

The Society aims to promote evidence-based clinical practice in bariatric and metabolic care by fostering collaboration between surgeons, endocrinologists, psychologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.

A key objective is the development of national standards of care aligned with international guidelines and the implementation of integrated patient-centred treatment models.
