Emirates Diabetes & Endocrine Society (EDES) is a non-profit medical society established in 1996. EDES represents a cross-section of physicians and healthcare providers actively involved in the management of diabetes and endocrinology.

As the primary medical society in the United Arab Emirates, EDES aims to educate and promote the exchange of high-quality information among diabetes healthcare professionals, raise public awareness, and encourage health improvement among UAE citizens and residents. The society conducts various programs, including educational initiatives and public awareness campaigns, to achieve these objectives.
