World Obesity and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre sign MoU!
On Thursday 26th November 2020, World Obesity and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) signed their first MoU, the start of a collaboration to address obesity in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
. In a virtual meet, ADPHC’s Director General H.E. Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi and World Obesity’s Director of Science & Education Dr. Olivia Barata Cavalcanti discussed intentions for the partnership and signed the formal agreement on cooperation in the fields of public health pertaining to obesity.
The MoU provides a framework for collaboration between the parties to further shared goals and objectives with regards to the prevention of overweight and obesity.
The MoU was signed on the 1st day of the SCOPE accredited 2nd UAE Obesity Conference being held on the 26th – 28th November.
