2021 in review: Malaysian Association for the Study Obesity (MASO)

Malaysian Association for the Study Obesity (MASO), under the auspices of Asia Oceania Association for the Study of Obesity, conducted the 'Asia Oceania Conference on Obesity and Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity Scientific Conference' (AOCO-MASO) on 6^th-8^th  April.

MASO was given the honour of organising the conference for the second time after a cycle of 20 years. The conference, which took place virtually, was attended by a total of 527 participants from all over the world. There were 60 invited speakers from various field of obesity studies presented their latest works in this conference. In general, the conference received positive feedback and it is hoped that the next conference on obesity in Asia Oceania region will be conducted physically.
