Heather Budd

Heather Budd has been working in non-profit and charity management for over 13 years.

In her role as Director of Finance & Operations at the World Obesity Federation, she is a member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO to develop and strengthen all of World Obesity’s assets; its people, culture, premises, finances, technologies and infrastructure, to deliver our ambitious strategic plan.

Heather joined World Obesity in 2012 as Finance & Membership Manager. In 2017 she took over HR and operations management and continues to manage World Obesity's finances, including budgeting, project fund management/reporting, producing the annual accounts and management of the annual audit.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Studies with Accounting from the Open University in the UK in 2010. She also holds a Level 5 CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Management. She was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised just outside Yellow Springs, Ohio. Heather is a travel fanatic, an avid white-water rafter, adores mountain hiking and loves just hanging out with her husband and many pets on their farm.
