Dr Chandni Maria Jacob
Dr Chandni Maria Jacob is a Senior Health Systems Research Advisor at the World Obesity Federation working on the Management and Advocacy for Providers, Patients, and Systems (MAPPS) II Project.
She has a background in clinical medicine (India) and extensive experience in public health research in the UK and global health. Her work has focused on obesity and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across the life course, as well as maternal and child health, preconception health and tackling health inequalities.
She has collaborated with several international organizations, including WHO and UNICEF, and has been a consultant for WHO. With expertise in evidence-informed policymaking, knowledge brokerage and health systems research, she is passionate about advancing strategies for prevention and treatment of obesity worldwide.
