Cathy Hanson

Cathy works at the World Obesity Federation as an Events Coordinator, contributing to the running of the WOF events portfolio. 

With a degree in Nutrition, Cathy provides practical assistance with the development of educational content for the SCOPE (Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education) programme. She also works on the expansion and promotion of the SCOPE programme as well as assisting in World Obesity's events around the globe. With previous experience in running events in the charity sector, Cathy communicates with delegates and liaises with speakers.

Cathy’s key interests include increasing awareness and knowledge of obesity, health inequalities, digital health, and universal health coverage.
