Alexandra de Mare

Alex joins World Obesity as an On Purpose Associate to oversee the delivery of World Obesity Day 2023.

Alex has had a varied career across many industries - from art, print and baked goods, through to the unusual world of vegan cheese - undertaking a variety of roles, including Sales, Business Management, Business Development, Project Management, and Operations. 

Alex studied History of Art and Italian at Leeds University, where she got to spend a year in the Northern Italian town of Bergamo, studying, travelling around Italy, and soaking up the culture. 

In her spare time, you'll find Alex listening to an audiobook whilst going for leisurely walks in the park, cooking up a treat in the kitchen, or catching up on Strictly/Bake Off!
