Dubai’s 30x30 exercise drive is back in action!
As part of this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge, a new roster of activities has been announced including a ‘City Half Marathon’, which will be held in October.
Last year more than 1 million Dubai residents took part in the challenge. It involved participation of 30 minutes of fitness every day for 30 days. Over 8,000 activities were held for free for residents, and we can expect to see the same this year.
What will the half Marathon entail? And when is it taking place?
The new half-marathon will take place in DIFC on Friday October 25 with a route through Dubai’s financial districts, and views of the Dubai skyline.
Do I have to be an expert in running to attend?
No! This event is inclusive for all! There will be options to run either 5km or 10km, and casual runners across different age groups are welcome.
How much does it cost to attend?
Participation starts from Dhs125 for the 5km run, Dhs175 for the 10km run and Dhs275 for the full 21km run.
