Secretariat Officer (Middle East and North Africa)

The Secretariat Officer is a new role that will work closely with the World Obesity Federation’s recently established Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Working Group.

The Working Group is made up of enthusiastic obesity specialists based in the region who have a shared mission to improve the prevention and treatment of obesity, and who have been tasked with setting up a regional obesity association. The World Obesity Federation are supporting the MENA Working Group with its objectives and this new position will carry out the secretariat function of the Working Group and the eventual association. 

As the successful candidate will work closely with the Chair(s) of the MENA Working Group, you will be required to be based in the United Arab Emirates, ideally Dubai. Please see the job description for further details.
