Hannah Brinsden is Head of Policy at the World Obesity Federation where she plays a key role in the organisation’s policy and advocacy work.
This includes advising the World Health Organization and its regional offices, the European Commission and national governments on their nutrition, obesity and NCD policies. She is also responsible for leading the strategy for World Obesity Day and other campaigns, and synthesising evidence to inform WOF briefings, positions and publications relating to obesity, NCDs, nutrition and healthcare.
Hannah has over 10 years experience working in national and international NGOs, campaigning for healthier environments to improve global health. She is a Registered Public Health Nutritionist, has a degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Reading University and is currently studying for her doctorate at City University, London. Hannah’s key interests include childhood obesity, nutrition, commercial determinants, global health, advocacy and conflicts of interest.
