Advocacy

World Obesity / Policy & Prevention (formerly IOTF) was set up to manage and develop the policy and advocacy work of World Obesity. Through a global network of experts and other NGOs, World Obesity / Policy & Prevention advocates for action and change at a global, regional, national and local level, targeting both the public and private sectors.

Our Policy & Prevention team works in a number of ways, ranging from advising governments,  responding to consultations, publishing position statements, convening high-level meetings of experts, forming coalitions and helping others advocate and spread the word where they are.
